We are back with a new announcement!
To bolster security, we upgraded our WAN IP Address Watermark feature.
Previously, the watermark displayed the Private IP address configured on the client side. In the latest version of the HySecure Client, the watermark now shows the actual WAN (Public) IP address used to connect to the HySecure Gateway.
Why Did We Introduce This Change?
This enhancement is designed to prevent the unauthorized dissemination of confidential information. Should a user attempt to leak sensitive data, the watermark will now provide clear details about the public IP address of the system involved, making it easier to trace and address any breaches.
